The EVC of QRM also funnels people from other branches to your branch. Inter or intra-sectoral mobility can be given substance through registering and certification of acquired competences and subsequently comparing these to the (Strategic) Competence Profiles (SCP) of your branch. Shortcomings are highlighted and a well-founded Personal Training Plan (POP) can then be quickly drawn up.
As branch, you will then be responsible for the actual training. Any vacancies that need filling will once again be promptly filled. This is how we ensure people are retained in the branch while at the same time supporting your objective of having sufficient numbers of qualified personnel available for your branch.
QRM’s EVC contributes to the quality assurance by ensuring that the right people obtain the correct professional qualifications within a short timeframe. The ISO certification of many businesses sets the requirement that only professionals can be deployed. All branches have staff that fully understand their profession but do not (yet) have the required qualification.
This is not just a business certification risk but also a commercial risk. Employing staff that have the right qualifications means your business will secure that project.
EVC stimulates the competition power of the businesses and strengthens their position in the branch.
Strategic Competence Profile (SCP) for the branch
SCP prepares businesses in your branch for the next growth phase. And we create a tailored SCP per function. The SCP is the future-oriented profile that forms the basis for developing personnel to ensure your business can also meet the competition head-on in 2-3 years time. It is a tool to your branch with which you support the businesses.
QRM uses the vision of the branch to develop SCP as new branch standards for every function in the branch. As the EVC certificate is granted by QRM based on your branch standards, a committee within your branch can assess whether a registration in the branch register should occur. It is also possible for the branch to grant its own (branch) diplomas, which will ensure that people will have sufficient proof of qualifications in their function and can continue to find employment in your branch.
Quickscan and development scan
QRM has a quickscan for each competency profile. Those within or outside your branch can use this quickscan to quickly browse through suitable functions. They can make well-founded choices for their personal development based on the results.
Branch profiles are compiled for a single branch that is hosted by QRM. Based on this development scan, people can (with a score of 100%) temporarily work (3 years) in the branch as employee in development. QRM assists these people in acquiring a suitable diploma within 3 years.
This development scan is an ideal encouragement tool. It can also be excellently applied as a redistribution tool for labour within the branch. Ensuring you retain a skilled workforce. This enables QRM to offer the branch and the businesses a tool for regulating staff turnover.
SCP for employees in your branch
SCP offers branch and business a clear development path. They know exactly where they have to be in 2-3 years time with regards to their desired competencies.
If your employees develop along the same path then new, desired possibilities for your business arise and vice versa.
SCP is the management tool for the management of the businesses to direct the development of your employees. Appraisal and evaluation reviews will once again have direction and meaning. The SCP allows you to offer the businesses in the branch a tool with which they will be able to work on the structure of their (future) company. QRM arranges the SCPs, while you determine the content.
Recognising acquired competences can also result in certification at company, branch or national level. The result of our competence measurements can be compared with the national upper secondary vocational education (MBO) or higher professional education (HBO) training standards, the basic requirements for a professional diploma. The latter is sometimes necessary, as a point in context, just consider the ISO certifications of the businesses in your branch. Increasingly, a business or branch certificate or diploma will suffice.
The branch itself determines the content of a branch diploma. This is for example an appealing opportunity for you because you do not have to include the mandatory language and calculus exams as requirement. These quite often form an obstacle for good professionals to obtain the required (nationally recognised) diploma. The technician often fails Dutch, while the agogic professionals stumble on the calculus exam. Result: no diploma. Make it different for your branch; ensure employee retention and an easier inflow of staff to your branch.
QRM has approximately 100 accreditations from the Ministry of Education. There is always a profile to match your wishes and if not…………..then we create it for you.
